Party under the sun at Naples

On Martin Luther King's day we decided last minute to drive to Naples. We made it in time to catch the sunset. It was really beautiful to see the sunset at the beach.

Megan and Jon sent us some beautiful tulips to help brighten our day when things got a little scary with Jackson. They were lovely and helped to put a bright spot in our home.

Strawberry Patch

In January we drove to the Girls Strawberry Patch to pick some fresh fruit. This was a lot of fun, their were strawberries everywhere. We even picked some fresh tomatoes, and grapefruit. When we were done picking strawberries we ate lunch at the Sandwich Man. This really is the BEST sandwich shop we have ever been to.

Christmas in St. George

For Christmas this year the Bingham's decided to spend it down in St. George, Utah. It was a little bit different but still fun to be with everyone. We got to see Lincoln, Shelbi, and Mary. They were as cute as ever. We flew into Las Vegas and spent the night at a hotel/casino just off the strip. That night we walked down the strip but it was so cold we didn't want to go outside. The next morning we went to the Las Vegas temple and drove to the pawn shop where the show Pawn Stars is filmed. It was fun to see the "old man".

We met up with Megan and Jon and drove to St. George. While we were in St. George we went to the Mountain Meadow Massacre, Brigham Young home, Zions, the St. George temple, and Pipe Springs National Monument (where we drove through a polygamist town), went swimming, and ate a lot of Nielson's frozen custard.

We bought a small pine tree at Wal-Mart for our Christmas tree. When everyone put their presents under it, Lincoln and Shelbi had a fun time opening them up before Christmas. It was fun to be with the family; opening up gifts was just an added bonus.

Brandon's Birthday

For Brandon's birthday I decided to surprise him by taking him out to eat at Chima's. It is a all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse. I got together with our friends John and Elisabeth and together we came up with a plan on how to 'kidnap' him and take him out to dinner. We blind folded him and tried our best to confuse him but in the end Brandon guessed where we were going. He was still surprised and excited though. We had a fun night, the food was great and the company was even better.

Thanksgiving Break

Over Thanksgiving break my parents flew down to Orlando. We had a fun busy couple of days. We we drove up to St. Augustine and on the way stopped at the Fort Matanzas. It is an old Spanish fort which translates into "Fort of slaughter". The ironic thing is it never saw a day of battle. On our way back to Orlando we stopped at Daytona Beach. The next couple of days we spent at Sea World and Epcot. Sea World was fun the walrus was the best show. Epcot was where we had our real adventure though. The day was going good then Brandon and dad took mom on a space ride which ended up making her sick. She was a good sport though and the next day went back to take her picture where it all happened! We had a lot of fun with my parents.

so there you have it its been a crazy week . The name we have picked out is Jackson Kent Keyser. I'm sure Emily June is up in heaven right now snickering about the whole mix up.
