Well Why don't you listen for yourself...... this is another sonogram we had taken today to check for any complications.
listen carefully
so there you have it its been a crazy week . The name we have picked out is Jackson Kent Keyser. I'm sure Emily June is up in heaven right now snickering about the whole mix up.
We went to the clinic today to take another sonogram of the baby, this one was on a smaller screen and I think the baby was all tired out because their wasn't much movement like usual but we did discover something interesting if you listen really hard you can find out for yourself.
Yep thats right Alli has some cloths shopping to do and I've got to go get a gun to keep the boys away :-)
This year to get into the Halloween spirit we decided to carve pumpkins! It was a lot fun. Brandon found a small pumpkin patch being sponsored by a local church. We called our friends Jon and Elizabeth to join us. (Jon and Elizabeth are in dental school with Brandon).
We chose our pumpkins and came back to our apt to start carving. When it was all done we put our pumpkin on our back porch. Sadly it didn't even make it a week before we had to throw it away. We learned that pumpkins only last a couple of days in Florida due to the humidity.
Happy 13 week birthday Little Keyser!!!!! Yeh thats right we are not announcing Ali's birthday which is on the 7th but some other member of the Keyser family. Here are some birthday pics for you all to enjoy. As you can tell the little one is already hamm'n it up for the camera.
It's true. It's no joke I am pregnant!! We found out in July and decided to wait to tell everyone until we had a good ultrasound picture. The baby is due on April 14th. We are very excited. The baby is doing good. He (I think its a boy) is very active. During the ultrasound we saw him kick, jump, open his mouth, and even relax with one arm up by his head while sucking his thumb! It was really fun to see it. Looks like we will try for around the same birthdate as Maria and Seths next baby :-)

Our on lime so far Alli with the U-pickum cars Basically this is what we found there The only strawberry on the whole farm. It was a sad day Fashion show
After many constructive comments about my inability to properly dress myself I decided to let Ali help me pick out a few new cloths we found some great deals and I got so excited I decided to Give Ali my version of a fashion show.
Our lime tree is starting to bare fruit little by little we are having a problem with all the fruit buds popping off the tree but one has stayed on so far.
Not much has been going on for us this summer since the trips that we just took and clinic. Yesterday Ali and I went to explore up in Delray. There was a cool little U-pick store up there that sold strawberries and other fresh fruits and veggies, we went with the dreams of coming back with all kinds of juicy treats but were dismayed to find that the plants aren't in season until November, oh well, at least we know where it is and they did have a cool shop with all kinds of, off brand sauces and dressings. We bought some Big Ricks BBQ sauce and Corn and Pickle relish. We also stopped to eat lunch at a place called the Sandwich Man I told Ali that their sandwiches had better be crazy amazing or I would be angry because you don't call yourself the Sandwich Man unless your sandwiches are extraordinarily awesome, its kind of like putting a sighn up that say's "BEST IN THE WORLD" and then letting everyone down because they aren't the best in the world. In the end I left the sandwich man very happy because they met my expectations and created sandwiches that are pretty crazy awesome.
It was only yesterday I feel like I was taking microbiology for the first time. Now I am making an immediate denture for a patient who will be receiving implants soon in place of his two front teeth. LeGrand you will laugh when you see this big bulky thing I've heard it can be done much easier now days, but for learning purposes this is as good as it gets.
While I was making these babies (dentures)
ali was soaking it up in Utah and in Martins Cove, All the Binghams were down visiting for the summer and they had a great time in Ali's words " It was a lot of fun to come home see the fam, and go to Martin's Cove with mom and dad. Martin's Cove really is a special place. Dad and I visited our special spot on the hill and felt the spirit. It was fun to see mom be a pioneer. She was really caught in the pioneer spirit. It really was a great experience. I enjoyed coming home and hanging out with Lincoln and Shelbi. What a treat. They are so cute, and I can't wait to see them again."
I spent the fourth of july on the beach watching the sun rise and checking out the firworks going off all along the beach with the keyser parents. As much fun as we had we both missed eachother very much and were glad to be home together again.
The other night we invented the most delicious breaded checken parmesan recipe I have ever tasted. I will post the recipe here and on the keyser recipe book.
Chicken Parm or something like it
First Bread 4 boneless chicken breasts using Italian seasoned bread crumps (just mix italian seasoning in with the bread crumbs)and egg whites and fry them in a little extra virgin olive oil until browned and cooked through.
- Add 2 cup of cherry tomatoes, cut in halves
-1 large onion
-1/2 cup of olive oil
- a covering of oregano, 3 fingers of sage and thyme, and parsley
-a little bit of hot pepper seeds
- 2 or 3 tsp of fresh chopped garlic
- 1/3 jar of your favorite brand of mushroom spaghetti sauce (you can make it without this part but I like to thicken the sauce a little)
cook all of this until everything is nice and blended put a lid on it to keep it hot and moist.
while cooking the sauce start the noodles and turn the oven on to bake at 400 degrees.
also try to keep the chicken warm.
- when the sauce is ready pore it over the breaded chicken in a glass cooking pan and sprinkle a cup or two of mozzarella cheese on top and put in the oven for 10 or 15 minutes until you can see the cheese melt and the sauce start to boil. quickly remove and serve on top of a bed of noodles plated individually. It is imperative to time this all together so everything is hot, if you don,t it will still taste great but I recommend timing it just perfect. If you think the recipe could use some tweaking go for it, like I said we kind of winged it so let us no if there are any improvements we could make.

here are a few more pics from the trip to Nicaragua we took and a couple of fun videos, WARNING the watermelon video has a little language.
In these few pics of Nicaragua and Costa Rica you can get a little idea of the things we did besides dental work our activities included, Volcanoes, lagoons, Zip lines, waterfalls and beautiful scenery everywhere you looked. What a fun trip I especially appreciated the fact that Ali was there to share it all with me. We are looking forward to many more similar adventures.
